As we begin a new sermon series, Joe Giovanetto, a former elder, teaches from 1 Corinthians 3. He reminds us from Paul's teaching that only spiritual people can understand the wisdom of God. The church should not follow the world. We should follow the Lord. Jealousy and strife are products of living like the flesh. Unity and peace are products of living in the spirit. We need to attribute all growth to the will and work of God. We also need to thank Him for all He gives to fellow workers so they can labor among us, and honor all of those who work together to build God’s kingdom.
