Making Sense of the Bible

The Bible is in itself the most influential book in the history of Western and much of Eastern civilization. People have a lot of opinions regarding what it means, but what is it really? And how do we read it well as followers of Jesus?

This 8-week class will help us to explore different sections in the Bible and see how each one contributes to the overall story of Scripture, ultimately leading us to worship, obey, and love Jesus.

  • Week 1: What is the Bible
  • Week 2: The Law
  • Week 3: The Prophets
  • Week 4: The Writings
  • Week 5: The Gospels and Acts
  • Week 6: New Testament Letters
  • Week 7: Apocalyptic Literature
  • Week 8: The Story of the Bible

Whether you're new to the Bible or have been reading it faithfully for years, this class offers an opportunity to grow in both your competency and love for reading Scripture day by day.

Note: Classes will begin each week at 8:45 am!
